03/09/2010 RAS - I am finding that this is true, in that overlap layers can sometimes get out of sync with the Selectable Objects (Alleys, PW Lines and Streets). Users need to be aware that if they click on the checkbox, and click again prior to postback completing, they can get their layers out of sync. This was also found to be true in the Project Layers (Overlaps, amd Moritoriums). Demonstrated this to MK.
Cleaned cache, and refreshed several times. RedX appears even though Overlaps is NOT selected. Selecting it now causes the Red X to disappear. I believe that it started when end users double clicked on check box. If they wait, and repeat process of double clicking, they can get it back in proper sequence.

However select the Lincoln Ave Bridge ID 582 and the map refreshed to the whole COT. Project details refreshed but map did not. Several other projects selected from Grid, and the map refreshed, but did not update nor change from previous selection.
Cleared Cache and restarted testing. Still inconsistent. After 2 or 3 times, the zoom to another project is not working. The search box looks at description and title of project only, it is case sensitive, and includes the start and end date if supplied.
The grid should show the results.
The map does not show results, in order to filter the map layers the same way, the layer info would have to include the project description. A solution to show just those entities is in work but for this issue, I would call it resolved.
03/10/2010 RAS - Search Box testing - Checking Project Title & Description. It is case sensative, meaning exact wording not all lower nor all upper. I tried Puyallup River Bridge with a start date of 8/9/2005 and end date of 2/29/2012. Unable to get dates to work in Search Box.

By default the Project Layers panel is visible when going to this page.
The Overlaps option is not checked by default. However the Overlaps Projects are always visible regardless of the Overlaps option being selected.
Is this saying that this layer should be turned off until the Overlaps option has been selected?
Additionally the pop-up Project Coordination window is also visible when hovering or clicking on the overlaps on the map page.
If the overlaps are not visible on the map (By unchecking on the Overlaps option) then the Project Coordination pop-ups should also not be available, until
the Overlaps option is checked.

| 425 | Project Layers & Selectable Objects error | Recent testing has revealed that when selecting Project Layers or Selectable Objects, a slight delay occurs between the time the user presses the selection and the actual Map being updated. During that time, it''s possible the end user might think that they didn''t select the option correctly, and may try it again.
At that point, the options can get out of sync. The map is showing layers that are currently not selected.
In the Project Layer section, the Overlaps are not selected, but they are showing on the map.
In the Selectable Objects section, the Streets, PW Line or Alleys can be selected, then unselected quickly, and the Map might be displaying that option.
Due to a slight delay. This is referred to as "Busy State".
Mitch suggests that we put an if then else statement for any code that interacts with the map (Java Script Code). If the Map is busy, wait or skip it.

Test for map to expand when browser window changed. Start with full window, and start with minimual window, then move around. It is expected to fill the space, altough the map may change elevations and that is okay.
03/10/2010 RAS - Testing Started with small page map, and expanded to strech window across both monitors. It worked!
Testing vertically and horizontally.
Vertically the map remains almost fixed length at 3.02 or when streched horizontally, the vertical setting changes to 15,965 ft.
Horizontally, the map reaches it's minimum size at 1:40,510 and 3.02 x 3.79 (mi)
Steching the map, it allows for various horizontal sizes.
The maximun size is 1:6,040 and 15,965 x 2,983 (ft).

02/10/2010 MKL - should be working. project lines in map get filtered and grid gets filtered.
03/10/2010 RAS - AS per ID 272, the telerik Date fields appear to be working at this time.
It should be noted that the Date Range (Start Date & End Date fields) Do Not use And Logic, but instead are applying
OR Logic. If the Start OR End Date falls within the date range, then the projects should appear in the Map and in the Grid result set.
Testing further details to see if the Date Range works with in conjunction with Project Types, Project Layers and Selectable Objects.

Project Details are onl inpacted by Date Range. Project Types, Project Layers and Selectable Objects have NO impact on what's beign displayed in the Project Detail (Grid).

03/10/2010 RAS - Testing telerik Date Range Start Date and End Date:
Test results:
Date input selection calendars working allowing date selection per month period, including weekends.
Input selection Star Date = 1/2/2005 and End Date = 12/31/2007
Map Results: Initial map returned 8 records and 2 more were difficult to see since 579 and 580 were mixed in with 578. Closer elevation and the new Overlap feature helps resolve this problem.
Grid Results: 10 records returned.
Both Map & Grid results are correct and both result sets match.
Various other date ranges tested appear to be working. It's important that the end users understand these dates. It doens't have to be an exact match. Start or End Dates simply have to fall within the given date range.
The Date ranges use OR logic, not AND logic.
